OFTRelics
What is OFTRelics?
OFTRelics adds relics to your server: rings, amulets, cubes, belts and circlets that players equip into a dedicated relic menu, where they grant libreforge effects for as long as they stay equipped. Relics are configured entirely from YAML, with no code: their item and model, crafting recipe, effects and conditions, levelling curve, and the loot tables they drop from.
It ships with 22 ready-to-use relics across five types, each one levelling up from 1 to 5 as it is used, from simple stat rings up to the legendary Cosmos Cube that cheats death. Use them as they are, tweak them, or write your own.
What sets OFTRelics apart?
Relics are equipped, not held. A relic does nothing in the hotbar or the offhand. Players place it into a slot of the relic menu, and it stays active wherever they go. Slots are grouped by relic type, five per type, and each slot can be locked behind any libreforge condition, so extra relic slots become a natural rank or progression reward.
Relics level up on their own. Any relic can have a leveling: section. It gains xp from libreforge triggers (hitting mobs, mining, swimming, taking damage, anything libreforge can count), climbs its own level curve, and gets a %level% placeholder in every one of its effects, the same way EcoEnchants scales enchantments by level. The level is stored on the item itself, so each copy has its own progress.
Three ways to open the menu. Players get a classic chest menu with a custom background, a spatial menu that floats in front of them in the world and is driven with the mouse, and admins get a relic browser that hands out any relic. Players choose which one /relics opens for them.
Progress you can see. An optional HUD at the top of the screen slides in whenever a relic gains xp, with the relic's icon, an xp bar and its level, and plays a level-up animation when it levels up.
The resource pack is generated, not shipped. OFTRelics builds a resource pack at runtime from your relic configs (item models, GUI backgrounds, HUD icons and fonts) and hosts it from its own built-in web server. There is no pack to maintain by hand, and it is sent alongside packs from other plugins instead of replacing them.
