EcoHub

What is EcoHub?

EcoHub is the plugin that links your Minecraft server to your EcoHub account and keeps every Eco plugin on that server up to date. Drop it in plugins/, link it once with a code from the website, and it checks for new builds at startup and every few hours after that. Updates download in the background and apply the next time the server restarts.

What sets EcoHub apart?

Nothing is ever written over a running plugin. Every download is checked against a SHA-256 hash, verified as a real plugin jar, and only then moved into plugins/update/ for Bukkit to swap in at the next boot. That is the only safe way to update a live server, so it is the only way EcoHub does it.

It only touches Eco plugins. Every Eco jar ships with a platform marker file inside it. If a jar has no marker, EcoHub lists it as unmanaged and never downloads, replaces, or removes it. Vault, WorldEdit, and the rest of your server are left alone.

It does not care where you bought the plugin. A jar from Polymart or Modrinth updates exactly like one downloaded from EcoHub, as long as your account owns that resource.

It sends no player data. No names, no UUIDs, no IP addresses. See Data and Privacy for the full list of what is and is not sent.
