What is EcoCrates?

EcoCrates is a crate plugin for Spigot and Paper servers. You define crates, keys, and rewards in flat config files, then players open crates to win randomised rewards through a range of opening animations. It supports custom items, custom enchants, virtual and physical keys, and the shared eco effects system.

What sets EcoCrates apart?

Crates are configured entirely in files, so there's no in-game editor to fight with, and configs are easy to copy, version, and share.

• Reward control: weight rewards with maths and placeholders, give ranks chance multipliers, and cap how many times a reward can be won.

• Opening animations: several built-in rolls (CS:GO style, encircle, flash, and more), plus rerolls so players don't feel cheated by a bad pull.

• Flexible access: open with physical keys, virtual keys, or by paying a currency, and make vote or milestone crates.

• Shared keys: multiple crates can share one key when configured to, so a single key type can open several crates.

• eco integration: uses the shared effects, conditions, and item systems, so crates work with custom items and enchants out of the box.
